Okay, so the monsters in this story were described as having reptile heads, horse bodies, and insect legs. Hmmm... This one took some sketching, but after a few tries, I came up with this creature. Nobody laughed, so I think that I did okay.

Again, thanks. :) I just had a discussion with my wife about the trick to using the inks, and I told her it was creating interesting and varied textures. That's why I'll put things in like plaid shirts, wood grain, soccer balls, etc.

Damn, that is some complicated monster to draw! I think you did a good job! I would totally have nailed 'reptile heads' and 'horse bodies', then I would have failed miserably at 'insect legs'. :D Love the inclusion of the slide in the background with the third monster on top btw, 33% more monster is a good thing.

I actually had another artist who was supposed to work on this one, and he bailed. When I asked him what the problem was, he said that he couldn't draw the monsters without making them look goofy. So, when I approached this one, I was a bit worried. It took me a couple sketches to nail it. My first try looked like a deformed My Little Pony. :)

That one in the back is shy and is trying to stay out of the picture...lol
