The second illustration for my upcoming novella THE PROBLEM WITH MICKEY. As mentioned before, I'm going for a more realistic look for this project. Sorry, those of you who like my gory work; this one's a bit tame. I was originally going to black the background out completely, but I wasn't sure how it would look (I didn't want the background to distract from the realism). So, I drew a door. It wasn't until I had finished it that I realized how much it looked like the background of "Something In Your Eye". Oh well...I'm recycling myself!

Realistic indeed! I especially like the shading on the hand. This is a beautifully drawn (and quite disturbing) illustration.

very nice tom, the expression on the dudes face is captured quite well. love the blue eyes of the little girl.the guy kind of looks like tom cruise....

The guy in this pic reminds me a bit of Dave Grull from Foo Fighters (and Nirvana). Heh. I think the advent of the door adds more realism, actually.

great shading and contrast. i enjoy the simple color of the eyes..it doesnt take away and i think it adds so much. great job once again

It's quite intense, and the lighting and shading adds so much dimension. I can't help but be caught up with the expressions.
