Hello all:
First off, I offer a big and sincere apology to all of my DA friends for my long absence. Not one to whine, I'll just say that a lot of little things added up to create one BIG creative slump. Everyday I didn't draw, I basically became more stressed, and I began avoiding places that had anything to do with art (or writing for that matter). Dumb move on my part, as DA has been a HUGE inspiration for me in the past. So, I'll be spending the next couple weeks catching up with all of your incredible deviations and comments. Again, sorry.
This illustration is the first decent one I've done in almost 4 months (I've actually only completed 3 in that time, but I'm not pleased with the other two). This is for the story "Good Samaritan" by Ken Goldman. It is to be included in a magazine collection of his short stories titled CAMEO. With this illo, I finally felt that I had taken another step forward (and not several steps back, like with my last couple).
Again, thanks to all who take the time to comment.
Humbly yours,
Tom
