This illustration was for the story "Smiling On the Inside" by my buddy, Liam Davies. It ran in KOPFHALTER! #3. The story depicted a boy's phobia of clowns during a circus performance. If you're afraid of clowns, this one was a nightmare.
Naw I'm not afraid of clowns but a friend of mine is. So it won't really work on me but it's a great poster to put on my friends room and scare the hell outta her! Thank u for the stroke of inspiration. Back to this the clowns can be kinda scary... but more cool than scary. The detailed work was great I think the best part was the realistic shading and how this is a story in a weird way. I think my knew phobia is human eating clowns.... U made such a creepy affect on it and it will be a fav of mine. U did one damn good job.

Wow, TheRed, thanks for the comment! If you put it in your friend's room and it scares her, I guess I did my job, right? LOL To tell you the truth, clowns don't really bother me that much (except for the ones in the movie "Clownhouse"), but Liam's story really got under my skin. I'm glad that you liked the shading and detail as it was a little less detailed than some of my other work. Thanks for taking a look!
