As a result, I got behind on responding to comments and thanking people for favorites. I felt like one of those DA tools who post their work up but can't even thank those who take the time to favorite or comment on their pieces. I also had over a thousand deviations to comment on. So, reluctantly, I walked away for a while.
However, I do miss the camaraderie of the boards and the many friends I made here. Although I've certainly got a lot done over the past several months, it's been a bit lonely! So, I'm going to try my damnedest to keep some sort of presence on DA. The summer's coming and--although I have about a dozen projects to complete--I should have some extra time on my hands (the summer months are usually my most active on DA).
I look forward to playing catch-up.

Awesome to see you again mate. Been missing your stuff man. Sometimes its good to have a break but the process of wading through the massive amount of art and comments is killer. I ended up just cutting and pasting "Thanks" to most of them.
Once again good to have you back

I've missed this place like you wouldn't believe. It became an important part of my creative process, and it's been strange not fraternizing with my fellow artists. I'm very glad to be back.
Yes, the amount of deviations and comments became overwhelming, and I felt like a douche when I couldn't keep up. I remember when I first joined that I found it quite rude when I'd comment and the person didn't reply. Now, I was that guy.
Anyhow, I'm hoping to do better this time around. Boy, do I have some catch-up to do!
Thanks again,
T
