The Pyramid of Pain

Okay, this one is probably going to have a couple people shaking their heads at me...lol. I'm currently illustrating an extreme horror novel, and I'm trying to keep the illustrations 50/50, subtle to explicit. It's tough, as the book is just BURSTING with depravity.

This is obviously one of the explicit ones...

This is from a scene in hell where little demons torture women by dropping them onto pyramids (yes, I know...it's sick). I really wanted to see if I could nail the moment of impact and create something dynamic (as well as the obvious REPULSIVE).

This one earned a, "you know, you really are a pervert" from my wife.
